In fact, gas-cylinder equipment, or simply LPG, is a complex fuel system that uses gas during its operation and is a profitable alternative to diesel fuel and gasoline.
HBO is a rather complex system installed on a vehicle, the main task of the owner of which is to save fuel, which is especially noticeable in the case of everyday use of the car and quite long trips.
How to choose the right gas equipment?
There are two ways to select gas equipment:
— purchasing a completely ready-made kit from one manufacturer. These types of kits will function accurately and correctly (of course, if their installation was done correctly and efficiently), because all components were originally designed to work in one system. In addition, all system parameters are known in advance and are stored in the control unit. The main disadvantage of purchasing a completely ready-made gas treatment system is its high cost;
— purchase of a universal kit. A distinctive feature of this type of electronics is that it can work with the vast majority of gearboxes and injectors known today without any problems. But in the process of selecting a universal kit, the installer must correctly select and subsequently correctly install the gas equipment . After all, incorrectly selected nozzles or gearboxes will negatively affect the reliability and quality of operation of the entire system.
How to operate a car on gas?
First of all, remember that a car equipped with gas equipment must start on gasoline. Yes, of course, the engine can be started on gas, but this is not recommended, because in this case the gearbox membranes will fail much faster.
You should switch fuel from gasoline to gas only when the engine has reached its operating temperature and the rpm is at least 1500. Please note that the 4th generation LPG switches independently after the engine has reached the required temperature and the required number of rpm.
Before a long enough or overnight stay, you must also switch to gasoline using the above algorithm.
